Please vote online for a new kitchen for Dunsden hall

hall.jpg

Dunsden Village Hall is in with a chance of winning a £25,000 grant for a new kitchen. All it needs is a few dozen people to vote online by the end of November. Will you help?

We are up against strong opposition nationally, just pushed from 3rd to 4th place. We desperately need a new kitchen. The money is given by the Family Assurance Society and this is the link:

It only takes a minute – thank you.

This is a fantastic community treasure. Used by the very young to the very old. We very much support the need to replace the kitchen.

Dunsden Village Hall, a splendid and attractive old building, used by many local people/organisations in connection with varied interests has good parking facilities and is located in a very attractive area, but would undoubtedly greatly benefit from the installation of a modern kitchen.
Over a long period of time it has become popular for many events, most of which include the preparation of refreshments and the present kitchen is not up to the standards expected nowadays.
Such an improvement would greatly add to its value to the community at large.

Dunsden Village Hall was originally a school but is now used as a venue for community events. Since we live in a rural area the community is quite spread out and it is important to have a centre where people can get together for cultural and educational events. The facilities are good with excellent parking space but unfortunately the kitchen is rather antiquated and not does not meet modern standards so updating it would benefit the whole community.

Members of the congregation of All Saints Church Dunsden have for many years run
Pancake Suppers , Harvest Suppers, and village fetes at this very special venue.
In fact we have been running these events for about 40years with the aim of getting people from the local area together for a social Gathering, and to have
a more up to date kitchen would make things so much easier for us all.

Additional catering facilities would make a huge difference to the Hall which has become such a popular focus for many local social events. It is a very good cause!

I must say the hall looks a beautiful place, and of course I will support funding this worthwhile appeal for a new kitchen. Its a must!.
